The internet, Tumblr specifically, has truly brought some wonderful and magial folks into my life. Jules and I became friends via Tumblr YEARS ago. Like, 2010? The OG days of Tumblr. Despite continuing to follow each other for years and over various social medias AND living in the same city finally (smacking myself for this one), we had never met!

UNTIL RECENTLY!!! When I saw online that they had gotten engaged, I crossed my fingers that they would hit me up and thank my lucky stars they did! While they now live in another state, it was so great to spend the evening with them exploring Sunset Cliffs with their dog Phoebe. It was like hanging out with old friends and they told me all about how they met:

We met in college back in New York circa 2011 (SUNY Purchase, whoop whoop)! We had so many mutual friends but never really got to know each other until one night when I needed a beer pong partner and Will volunteered. To this day it is still the ONLY beer pong game we've ever won. I remember one of us turned to the other and said "hey, we make a pretty good team!" and that's pretty much been our motto ever since!

And their perfect, casual proposal:

The day Covid hit, family were due to come visit for Jule’s birthday. As the news hit everyone pretty hard, Will thought “We all need some good news”. Raising shots of whiskey in place of a ring, the two announced that as of that moment they were engaged!

These two sweeties are seriously so stinkin cute with each other. They way they smile at each other killed me and these photos just make me so darn happy.

So SO looking forward to your big day Jules and Will!! Cant wait to hug ya and celebrate your love!
