What was your favorite part of the wedding day?: For moments for just us, our first look! We’re so glad that we did one and were able to have a quiet and special moment for just us in between that craziness of the day! Especially for a bride like me, who was really hands on (at the venue setting up and putting out fires until 45 minutes before Maddie arrived LOL), I enjoy the chaos of prep but having a moment to take a breath just the two of us was really the recharge we needed before the event.

They hired a live stream vendor so that all the loved ones who Covid was keeping away could still be a part of the celebration. We put a lot of thought into covid safety (no shared serving platters, hired a bar tender, everything spaced out) and only invited immediate family and we each got two friends to invite.
