Fun and Artistic SoCal Engagement Photos. San Diego, CA | Natalie and Scott
It may seem like I say it over and over, but Balboa Park is truly and endless heaven of magical little spots. Even though it is one of the locations I shoot at regularly, I still find something new every time! Natalie and Scott were up for whatever and trusted me to walk through a couple alleys to this secret little cactus garden! I never knew that Balboa had more than one and this was such a great surprise.
Natalie and Scott are a blast. These two clearly love to have fun and spending time goofing around with them was the best! Coffee Meets Bagel has brought together a few of my favorite couples, including these two. Natalie described it to me like this:
Scott and I met in 2017 on Coffee Meets Bagel π we were both at our wits end with online dating and it was such a relief to meet one and other. Our first date went on for almost 5 hours and neither of us noticed until the waitress commented.
Covid has been a real jerk about wedding planning. Natalie and Scott were also victim to it, but have used it to make their day even more fun!
We had this amazing winter themed wedding (I love all things holiday and string/twinkle lights) planned for 12/19/20 but Covid had other plans. Most of my family is from South America, and due to the travel restrictions and the economic toll it took on them, they are unable to fly out and join us. And wanting to be considerate of safety of everyone, we decided to scrap the whole thing and just do something small in our backyard while we still have outdoor weather. We love halloween and figured a hallowedding would make for a fun story.
I can NOT wait for their Hallowedding and definitely need to start working on a costume.
Natalie and Scott, thank you so much for this super fun day. Your trust in my vision helped create some of my new favorite images! See you cutes in October!!
