On the big day, I met up with the Brides at Kona Kai resort, where they had gotten ready with the people nearest and dearest to them. All the guests boarded the boat and the dock became an aisle as the brides boarded to everyone’s cheers. One of the Bride’s close friends officiated the ceremony. There wasn’t a dry eye on deck ( I’m pretty sure I saw the first mate wipe away multiple tears) as we started our cruise around the San Diego Bay.

The three legged Ring Bearer Gideon was always close by, ensuring everything was going smoothly. Throughout the rest of the day, there were so many thoughtful details. Some favorite moments had to be sharing Ube Biko during their ceremony and singing “Power of Two” by the Indigo Girls instead of a first dance.
