When I first met up with Anne and Ben to chat about their wedding plans, the whole conversation immediately became about dogs. We met at dog friendly brewery and had a hard time focusing with all the furry friends around us. Pups are probably about half of my heart, having worked with dogs as a walker and vet tech for years before I became a full time photographer. Dog people are always my people and it seemed like a pretty perfect fit as soon as the three of us started to chat.

I love the desert and all the wild forms it takes. It’s definitely one of my favorite places to dream up engagements, elopements and weddings in! These two are freaking special and I’m so grateful for this adventure with them. If you are ever looking for someone to head to the desert with, I am ALWAYS game!
Read MoreBalboa Park is a totally iconic part of San Diego, and I’m pretty sure Michelle and Brent are totally an iconic part of my life now. In the early days of their falling in love, they met up at Panama 66 pretty regularly. This was the perfect place to start their engagement session. We grabbed a beer or two and Michelle and Brent basically couldn’t stop grinning at each other. These cutie angel babies seem to totally sparkle around each other, while also just being total goofs. We had so much fun wandering around Balboa and I can definitely can not freaking wait for their wedding at BLDG 177. Is it April yet?!

Read MoreYears ago Nydia (from San Diego) and Matty (from Boston) met while touring the country. It would be years later that they reconnected (maybe or maybe not thanks to me at Pete…) and fell in love. 3000 miles couldn’t come between them, and Nydia moved to Massachusetts to be with Matty.

There is so much to look at in every direction, so I was so grateful to met up with Aubrey and Zack on a overcast and breezy day before we entered the park. On top of having an incredible van, they are also avid rock climbers and were amazing tour guides. As we explored, they pointed out their favorite climb spots and showed me some really amazing parts of the park.
